- Do I need to be in shape before I start?
- No. Most of our clients arrive after years away from training, or having never trained at all. The first appointment is a movement assessment — we meet you where you are, then build the program from there.
- What does the first appointment look like?
- About sixty minutes. We talk through your history, your goals, and any pain or injuries. We run a movement screen and an InBody 570 body composition scan. You leave with a clear picture of where you stand and a written first-month program.
- How often will I train, and how long is a session?
- Most clients train one-on-one with a coach two or three times a week, for fifty-five minutes. Twice a week is a sustainable floor for measurable change. We will tell you honestly what cadence your goal needs.
- Can I just get an InBody scan without committing to coaching?
- Yes. The InBody 570 is bookable on its own — about fifteen minutes, no membership required. Bring the print-out to your doctor, your own coach, or keep it for yourself.
- Do you take HSA or FSA?
- Personal training and body composition scans can often be reimbursed through an HSA or FSA when prescribed by a physician for a specific condition. We are happy to provide a detailed receipt; eligibility is determined by your plan administrator.
- Where is the studio, and is there parking?
- We are at 701 S Los Angeles St in the Historic Core of Downtown LA, walkable from the Financial District, Bunker Hill, the Arts District, and Little Tokyo. Street parking and several paid lots are within a block.
